THE STRENGTHS LETTER
(YOUR WEEKLY NOTE FROM ANGELINE)
Hello Reader,
If you’re new here, welcome! In this newsletter, I write about lead gen systems for coaches and speakers to turn applause into prospects, and leads into future clients.

Two weeks ago, a business consultant confided in me 😰:
“I’m not too worried about the tech part—there are always enough YouTube videos. But what made me hesitant to start a newsletter is... what if I ran out of ideas to write and I had to stop sending? Then I’d disappoint my readers.”
I had that fear too when I first started.
But now that I’ve published 40+ weekly newsletters, let me share my secret with you.
ONE simple idea to generate enough content for 10 newsletter issues → List the top 10 questions from your prospects or clients.
These might be questions they asked during a discovery call or when you’re providing your service to them.
This is especially easy to collect during your talks or speeches. What questions do people raise their hands to ask? What do they stop and chat with you about after your talk?
Those are the ideas to seed your newsletter content.
Questions are everywhere once you start listening for them
Here are two examples:
👉 For career coaches:
How different is this if I am seeking an internal position?
What if I’m changing careers completely—does your process still work?
How much time does it take? I’m employed full time and have a busy life.
Will you help me update and review my resume?
What about my LinkedIn profile?
Do you conduct mock interviews?
Can I get my employer to pay for it?
What if I’m not getting any responses at all?
How long does it typically take to see results?
Can you help me negotiate salary once I get an offer?
👉 For chiropractors: (can you tell I've been thinking about making an appointment?)
Will it hurt?
What do I wear?
Do you take insurance?
How do I find out if my insurance covers this?
What if my legs/hips/shoulders are also in pain?
What if I’m sensitive to people touching me?
How many times will I have to come back?
What do I need to do between sessions?
Can I drive after sessions?
What if I feel worse?
Then every week, you take one of these and answer it in your email.
Voila! You now have content for 10 newsletter issues.
And the cool thing is, once you do this step, your 🧠 brain will start paying attention to any questions people ask you. So be ready to capture more questions next time you’re giving a talk or a webinar, and add them to your bank of questions.
Why this works: If they’re asking these questions, that means others also have the same questions but aren’t asking yet. When you name the unknown problem for your prospects and provide the solution, they see the possible transformation and are more likely to buy from you.
❓Quick question: How do you capture your content ideas right now? (Me: I keep an "Idea" notebook)
Charlotte Blair—a coach for coaches—started the Connect Learn Share community from this exact strategy.
A few years back when I was exploring starting my own solo business, Charlotte graciously lent me 30 minutes of her time to answer some of my questions. But here's what she noticed: so many coaches had asked her the same questions... 5, 10, or even 50 times. Questions about establishing their business, finding clients, coaching resources, how much to charge, and setting up systems.
There was a tremendous need and she saw it. So she created a community for coaches called "Connect • Learn • Share" where coaches can get answers to these recurring questions and grow a healthy coaching business
That's the power of paying attention to what people are asking you.
Those repeated questions are your ideas goldmine for newsletter content and your next business opportunity.
